George Leroy Adams, 83, of Napa, California, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025. Born on October 4, 1941, in Napa, California, George lived a life defined by his devotion to family, hard work, and love of the outdoors.
George was a proud member of the Native Sons of the Golden West. He worked at Kaiser Steel for 23 years before dedicating himself to landscaping, where his skill left a lasting impact. George cherished fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and tackling projects around the house. His garden, in particular, was a source of pride and joy.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Judie; son, George, and his wife, Lisa; grandsons, Patrick and his wife, Nora, and Christopher and his wife, Cindy; granddaughter, Haili; and great-grandchildren, Aaron, Lincoln, Eloise, Madison, and Hazel. George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nettie Adams; daughter, Deborah Parsons; and brother, Ernest Adams.
George’s warmth and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on June 1, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Native Sons Hall, 975 Coombs St., Napa, CA.
