With profound sorrow and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of Gabriela “Gabby” Llamas, a beloved mother, fiancée, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, niece, and friend. Gabby was a radiant young woman whose kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit brought warmth and comfort to all who knew her. She was truly an angel on earth, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. 

Gabby was the heart of her family — the steady foundation that held everyone together. For 11 cherished years, she shared a devoted and tender love with her fiancé, Matthew, building a life grounded in loyalty, laughter, and an unbreakable bond. Their love story was one of mutual support and quiet strength, a partnership that brought them four precious children and a lifetime of memories.

Motherhood was Gabby’s greatest blessing. From the day her firstborn son, Andrew, entered her life, she embraced her role with unmatched devotion. She sought guidance, comfort, and wisdom from her mother Rocio, her sister Maribel, and her mother-in-law Sylvia, wanting only to be the very best mother she could be. Her dedication, her attentiveness, and her boundless love shaped Andrew into the remarkable young man he is today — a living reflection of her care.

In 2021, Gabby and Matthew faced the heartbreaking loss of their twin baby girls. Though they were stillborn, Gabby chose to deliver them and hold her daughters, giving them a moment of love and dignity that will forever be remembered as one of the most selfless acts of a mother’s heart. She honored them with a beautiful memorial, carrying their memory lovingly through every day of her life. 

Joy returned when Gabby welcomed her daughter, Amaya, in 2023, She called her “Our sweet little rainbow baby” Amaya brought light, laughter, and renewed hope into her world. Gabby adored her curly-haired, brown-eyed princess with every fiber of her being. She planned each birthday with great care — every detail, every decoration, every moment crafted with her signature thoughtfulness and love. Even during her hospitalization before Amaya’s second birthday, Gabby remained determined to give her daughter a celebration as vibrant and joyful as she deserved. From her hospital bed, she arranged the hand-painted banner, decorations, and cake, and lovingly watched through video calls as her family celebrated on her behalf. Though her heart ached to be there in person, her joy at seeing Amaya smile shone through.

Gabby possessed an extraordinary gift for making others feel loved, understood, and supported. She was the person family and friends turned to in moments of sadness, celebration, confusion, or simply to hear her warm voice. Her text messages — often sent in long, expressive sequences — became a signature part of her presence. We laughed about them then; we treasure them now. How we miss those familiar beeps and the love behind every word.

Her mother, Rocio, describes her as a marvelous daughter — dedicated, tender-hearted, hardworking, and always ready to help those in need. She carried a beautiful smile that won the affection of everyone she encountered. A devoted daughter, sister, niece, and friend, Gabby lived a life centered around family, giving of herself endlessly and with pure sincerity. Her mother often says no notebook could ever contain all the wonderful things there are to say about her — and there is no truer sentiment.

Her father, Luis, expressed the profound sorrow he feels at the loss of his beloved daughter. His heart aches, yet he holds close the many tender memories they shared. He often recalled their countless trips to Walmart from her childhood—three or four times a week—for the little things she loved. Though he can no longer remember exactly what they bought, he remembers her smile, and how seeing her happy made him feel like the luckiest father in the world. She came to live with him when another of his treasures entered their lives—his first grandson, Andrew. Having them both under his roof was one of the greatest blessings of his life. Later, when his granddaughter, Amaya, was born, her beautiful brown curls and bright brown eyes brought him back to cherished years gone by. He felt that God had shaped Amaya in a way that mirrored his princess, offering comfort so his heart would not break completely.

Gabby was always attentive and caring in the simplest, most heartfelt ways. She made sure he ate his meals and took his medications. Many times, while he was resting in the living room, he would feel her gently drape a warm blanket over him. Even when he was awake, he felt deeply the quiet love in that small gesture. She would return again and again, reminding him to go to bed, no matter the hour. His heart will forever ache for his princess—now an angel in heaven

Gabby leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion. She touched countless lives with her grace and tenderness, and her memory will live forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered always, loved endlessly, and missed beyond measure.

Gabby fue una joven llena de luz, cuya bondad, ternura y espíritu gentil brindaron consuelo y calidez a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Fue, verdaderamente, un ángel en la tierra, y su ausencia deja un vacío imposible de llenar.

Gabby fue el corazón de su familia — el cimiento firme que mantenía a todos unidos. La alegría regresó cuando dio la bienvenida a su hija Amaya en el 2023, Ella la llamaba “Nuestra dulce bebe de arcoiris” Amaya llenó su mundo de luz y esperanza renovada. Gabby adoraba con toda su alma a su princesa de ojos cafés y rizos hermosos . Ella Planeaba cada cumpleaños con detalle y dedicación — cada decoración, cada arreglo, cada momento pensado con su amor característico. Incluso durante su hospitalización antes del segundo cumpleaños de Amaya, Gabby insistió en planear cada parte de la celebración desde su cama. Escogió el banner pintado a mano, las decoraciones, el pastel, y observó con una mezcla de alegría y nostalgia cómo la fiesta se llevaba a cabo mediante videollamadas. Aunque su corazón deseaba estar presente físicamente, la sonrisa de su hija le brindó una Felicidad inmensa.

Gabby tenía un don extraordinario para hacer sentir a los demás amados, escuchados y comprendidos. Era la persona a la que acudíamos en momentos de tristeza, celebración, confusión, o simplemente para oír su voz dulce. Y cómo olvidar sus mensajes de texto — largos, detallados, enviados en secuencia porque siempre quería expresar cada sentimiento por completo. Antes nos reíamos; ahora los atesoramos. Extrañamos profundamente esos avisos en el teléfono y el amor detrás de cada palabra.

Su madre, Rocio, la describe como una hija maravillosa — dedicada, tierna, trabajadora y siempre dispuesta a ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Su sonrisa iluminaba cada lugar y conquistaba a todos quienes la conocían. Hermana, sobrina y amiga inigualable, Gabby vivió una vida centrada en su familia, entregándose con sinceridad absoluta y amor incondicional. Su madre suele decir que no existe cuaderno lo suficientemente grande para escribir todas las cosas hermosas que se pueden decir de ella — y cuánta razón tiene.

Su padre, Luis, expresó el profundo dolor que siente por la pérdida de su amada hija. Su corazón duele, pero guarda cerca los muchos recuerdos tiernos que compartieron.
