Francisca Cueto Lagrosa (“Fraceng”), age 97, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 26, 1928, in Lemery, Batangas, Philippines, and later married the love of her life, Feliciano Lagrosa. Together, they built a loving family and raised seven children. In 1980, they moved to Hawaii before eventually settling in Vallejo, California in 1984, where they continued to build their life surrounded by family.
Francisca was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend. She was a woman of deep faith who was known for always praying and keeping her trust in God at the center of her life. She found great joy in her spiritual routine, including field service, Bible study, and reading The Watchtower. Her faith and prayers were a constant source of strength for both her. She was resilient and strong throughout her life, facing challenges with quiet courage and grace. Francisca had a nurturing spirit and was deeply committed to her family, teaching them the importance of unity, tradition, and staying close to one another. She helped create lasting family traditions that continue to be cherished and passed down through generations.
She also enjoyed simple but meaningful pleasures, including cooking, sewing, watching TFC, nature programs and James Bond movies. She especially enjoyed the music of Rey Valera. Her home was a place of warmth, care, and togetherness, where family was always welcomed and loved.
Above all, Francisca treasured her family. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she deeply valued every moment spent with them. Her love, wisdom, and example will continue to live on through the generations she helped shape.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Dee and Frank, Angie, Evelyn and Jessie, Teodoro and Myra, and Emelita and Israel. Her family also lovingly honors the memory of her children Ding, Raul, and Cynthia, who passed before her. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses: Frankie, Matthew, Abbie and Daniel, Sheba, Marylee, Jean-Marie, Hannah and Bryan, Audrey, Stephanie, TJ, Rally and Kathleen, and Julia; and her great-grandchildren: David, Noah, Phoebe, and Daphne; along with many beloved relatives and friends who will continue to cherish her memory.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith and quiet resilience. Through life’s challenges, she remained strong, prayerful, and devoted to her family. Her legacy of strength, love, and faith will never be forgotten.
