Edward Jones Obituary
On June 7th 2021 we said goodbye to, our dad, papa, grandpa, uncle Ed, cousin, dear friend, Edward Tweed Jones.
Ed was born in Oklahoma in 1934 an only child to Cecil and Zella Jones. He moved to California in the 50s and graduated from Vallejo HS in 1952.
He met our mother Alma in 1960 and they married in 1961. He found out what it meant to have a big family with the escapades of raising six kids in the Napa Valley. He loved his wife Alma. They were married for 60 years in May of this year. They traveled, gardened and played cards. They fished and panned for gold. They shared a long life of adventures and family.
They cherished all of their family. Hundreds of dinners were shared in their kitchen or on the porch enjoying the beautiful views from their home.
They enjoyed time with their many friends, traveling, RV camping, dinners, parties and they were happy to share a cocktail or a cold beer while beating you at a game of cards.
Ed is preceded in death by his wife Alma, son Robert, son Bryan and daughter Diane.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim (Richard) Gray, Dixie Jones, son Michael (Elena) Clark and his cherished 26 grandchildren.
