Dolores J. Murray, born on August 10, 1932, in Missouri to Clyde and Rose Farmer, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A proud graduate of St. Mary's College, Dolores earned her BSN and devoted her life to caring for others as a registered nurse. She dedicated over 30 years of service to Napa State Hospital, where her compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication touched countless lives.
On June 19, 1954, Dolores married the love of her life, Edwin Murray. Together they built a family rooted in love and resilience, raising three sons: Wyatt, Sean, and Blake. Dolores was known to all as a true spitfire-spirited, strong-willed, and fiercely devoted to those she loved.
She found her greatest joy in her family, cherishing time spent with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as the heart of the family.
Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband Edwin Murray, her cherished son Sean Murray, and her beautiful and bright granddaughter Courtney Murray.
She is survived by her sister, Adeline "Millie" Pratt; her sons and their spouses, Wyatt and Margie Murray, Cheryl Murray, and Blake and Tammerra Murray; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry forward her memory and spirit.
Dolores's warmth, tenacity, and love leave an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
