NAPA - Dennis Lowry was born in San Francisco on September 16, 1943. He passed away in his lounge chair with his Yeti cocktail in his lap, and the remote in his hand watching sports on the television, in the home he had lived in for 54 years.
He is survived by his sons: Timothy of Washington State and Thomas of Southern California; his ex-wife, Sandy Sorbet; along with six grandchildren: Sara, Melissa, Benjamin, Bradley, Thomas and Ashley. He is predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Francis; along with his sister, Kathy Mazza; and the best dog he ever had, Buster.
Dennis worked as a machinist for both the Shell Oil Refinery and Standard Oil in Martinez, CA. He was active in the Elks as a Volunteer Bartender, along with a regular attendee and contributor of the annual fundraising events for the National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited.
Dennis loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting, a Porsche enthusiast, dice games and camping at Benbow and Graeagle with friends in his RV.
A celebration of life will be held on December 21, 2022, 6:00 p.m. at the Napa Elks Lodge. No host dinner and bar. $25 dinner. Please RSVP to napaelks@sbcglobal.net or call 707-255-4522.
