Deborah Pendergrass Obituary

Deborah Lynn (Armstrong) Pendergrass found peace and freedom at last. On November 3, 2023, my mom passed away after a long battle with multiple health issues.

Debbie was born to Norman and Anita Armstrong on October 20, 1954 in Merced, CA. She grew up in Napa where she was raised with her two brothers, Ronald and Rick. My mom enjoyed many things in life! She loved riding motorcycles, cheering for the Raiders, listening to her country music and looking at nature. She was a huge supporter of our military, fire and police officers.

Many people would know her from Home Depot, where she worked in every department over her 18 years with the company. She looked forward to seeing her "regulars" and chatting with them in the aisles.

If you asked Debbie what made her heart the happiest, she would tell you all about her dog, Joey. My mom LOVED all animals. Above all else though, she loved her one and only grandson, Jake, more than anything.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Brandy Briggs (Jason); her grandson, Jake; her brother, Rick Armstrong (Cindy); nephews: Jim Armstrong (Ashley), and Nick Armstrong; niece, Amber Hillabolt (Ryan); great-nephews: Caleb and Sterling; as well as great-nieces: Katie, Reese, Hannah and Ariella. Sadly, her brother, Ronald Armstrong (Roni Sue) passed just six weeks after her.

"Mom, I am taking good care of Joey. We are so sad you are gone but hope you are dancing in the stars and finally happy to be free. I didn't get the chance to tell you before you left - I love you!"
