With profound sadness, we announce that Debbie passed away peacefully at her home on April 2, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Ray Gibson, Sisters Laurie Gallagher (Rick Tate), Brenda Rostow (Jere), Sister-in-law Cheryl Gregory (Bob). Nieces Lindsey Gallagher, Jennifer Moran, Alison Gregory, Stephanie Alexander. Nephews Grant Gallagher, Joey Thompson, Jeff Gregory, Dave Tobey.

Debbie was pre-deceased by her Mother & Father (Sophie & Wally Budzinski), brother Bobby Budzinski, In-laws (Charlie & Elizabeth Gibson) and beloved cousin Colleen MacDougal of Canada.

Debbie was born July 11, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Debbie and family arrived in Vallejo, California in December of 1963. Debbie graduated from Hogan Sr. High School in Vallejo in 1974. Debbie and Ray married in 1976 and moved to Napa, CA where they still reside.

Debbie was known as a major animal lover and had rescued & adopted many, many pets and is joined by her beloved German Shepard Brookie. Debbie loved spending time gardening and had a fabulous green thumb. She enjoyed her friends, family, reading, connecting with longtime and new friends, and made several trips to Ireland and Canada.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 23, 2026 at 11AM at Tulocay Cemetery, 411 Coombsville Rd., Napa, CA. If you wish to, please make any Remembrance donations to "We Care Animal Rescue" in St. Helena, CA, in honor to celebrate her love of animal rescue and adoption.
