Cynthia K. Windmeyer

Cynthia Widmeyer died peacefully in her home on February 19 after a long illness. She grew up in Ohio and moved to California in her early twenties. Cynthia got her Master's Degree in English from UCLA, and taught at Napa College for twenty-five years. She loved poetry, the New Yorker Magazine, travel, and dogs. She leaves behind her life partner, Shirley Kidd, her brother, Roger Widmeyer (Patricia), Bryan, TX and her sister, Dianne Widmeyer Eyer (Lyle), San Francisco. Cynthia is predeceased by her parents Doris Wilder Widmeyer and Dr Chester Paul Widmeyer, both of Akron, Ohio.
