It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christian
Massey, he was only 27. Born on Friday, October 13, 1995 at Kaiser
Vallejo. Christian filled our lives with love and happiness from the
moment he came into this world.
He is survived by his parent’s father Clifford and mother Cashmere, his
sister Grace and his four nieces: Alexis, Mia, Desiree and Isabella.
Uncle Bruce and aunt Ement, his cousin Megan and grandparents Art
and Carol.
Christian attended Donaldson Way Elementary and he was one of the
first graduating students at the American Canyon High School in 2013.
Unsure of what he wanted to do as a career, Christian attended Napa
Valley Junior College and pursued completing his general education
requirements. In 2017 Christian jumped on the opportunity to pursue a
journeyman engineering apprentice program at UCSF Medical Center in
San Francisco. As he was completing his course for the apprentice
program, Christian worked and trained with the journeyman engineers to
learn the trade. As bright as Christian was it was easy for him to
transition and excel in his job. After graduating in 2019 from the
apprentice program, he has been working as a journeyman engineer at
UCSF Mission Bay Medical Center ever since. His co-workers would say
he was a bright young man and was very well liked.
Christian lived in American Canyon since he was 4 and as a young kid
he enjoyed playing video games (one in particular was HALO) with his
cousins and friends. Just recently Christian shifted his hobbies into
watching drag racing over at the Sonoma Raceway with his friends.
Also, he is big into Formula1 racing. He loved it so much that he had a
racing simulator set up in his room that had an adjustable chair, with
metal pedals, rubber grips for the steering wheel, and a shifter and we
cannot forget the shoes and gloves. Let’s just say, I felt like I was driving
in a real sports car. It was pretty awesome! Christian had the coolest
toys and gadgets and he was never selfish about sharing it. He was
sweet and caring, he was very supportive to his family and his friends.
We will miss you Christian.
The Massey family wishes to thank all those who helped us and
Christian in the past few weeks. Your support has meant the world to us
