Catherine Marie Fetzer

Catherine Marie Fetzer, a long-time resident of Napa, California passed away on November 10, 2024.She was born on November 12, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Jacqueline York. Being an Airforce brat, Catherine lived all over the country including Waco, Texas; Enid, Oklahoma; North Carolina and finally Fairfield, California.

After graduating from high school, Catherine earned her AA at Napa College as well as her Court Reporting Certificate though she preferred to transcribe for other court reporters for the next five years. Catherine really found her calling in real estate, selling many properties in her 30-year career in Napa Valley. She was president of the Board of Realtors for a year and a broker with Coldwell Bankers Brokers of the Valley for 30 years. She became friends with all her clients and stayed in touch.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 45 years, David E. Fetzer, sister Patsy Keenan (Terry), brother Charles (Tammy), niece Sabrina Friedenfelds (Jason), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Janice Lawley (Blaine), her mother and father.

Catherine loved the RV life and liked nothing better than traveling in her motorhome enjoying trips all over the United States and Canada. She was an animal lover, showing her horse Sinner competitively and rescuing many cats and dogs. Catherine will be dearly missed by all who had the privledge of knowing her.

David will miss the many hours they spent together driving around the country.
