Obituary

Carol was born April 28,1953 in Vallejo at Kaiser Permanente Hospital exactly 5 years to the date after her sister Sandra. She passed away on February 8,2022. She is the daughter of Neva Paul Cantrell and sister of Sandra Poto. She is survived by her sister and brother in-law Sandy and David Poto of Sweet Home, Oregon. Cousins in California.

Carol's friends said " she is always in our hearts; memorable forever; was one of a kind; her own person; and like Frank Senatra said " she did it her way " She grew up as a bluebird, campfire girl, jobs daughter, and as a volunteer at the Napa Public Library.

Carol was a lifetime Psych Tech at Napa State Hospital from 1974 to 1986; and at "BDC" in Sonoma for an additional 25years. Carol was the kind of person who took her male adult autistic residents to see baseball games at the Oakland , Coliseum while sneeking beer into the stadium. Fun loving for sure. An angel for sure.

She absolutely loved traveling through Europe including Ireland, England, Spain, Mallorca and mostly to Mexico at the Playa de San Patricio in Malaque. These years trips were her great adventures. Carol loved her Zumba classes with her and as a lifetime Napa resident she went to music venues at the Uptown Theater; also the Bottlerock events at the fairgrounds and shopping throughout her life.

Carol was a proud and colorful part of her neighborhood and friends throughout. She will be missed by all that got to know her. God bless her.
