In Loving Memory

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Brenda Ann Tognetti, who went to heaven peacefully on December 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 81 years old.

Born on August 23, 1944, Brenda lived a life marked by kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength. She was known for her warm smile, her caring nature, and her genuine honesty, which made everyone around her feel valued.

Brenda was a dedicated and loyal employee throughout her career, bringing professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every role she held. She was deeply respected by colleagues and customers alike during her years at Murdock’s, DeMoor Winery, and the Robert Mondavi Winery.

Above all, Brenda cherished her family. She created a home filled with warmth and love, always making those around her feel special, supported, and cherished. Her greatest joy came from her family, who will forever carry her love and guidance with them.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Daniel Tognetti, and her two daughters, Dana Codron and Denise Merryweather (Timothy Merryweather). She was a devoted grandmother to Marek Codron, Adam Stone, Ryan Merryweather (Aline), and Amanda Robbins (Jeff), and a proud great-grandmother to Ivy Merryweather. She also leaves behind her sister- and brother-in-laws and their families, whom she held in warm affection. 

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 1:00 PM at Tulocay Cemetery, where friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Queen of the Valley Hospital’s Cancer Wellness Program or the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy of Napa County in her honor.

Brenda Tognetti will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, compassion, and integrity will live on in all who knew her.
