Billie Sue Milne, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted friend, passed away on July 14th, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in our souls. She was born on February 3rd, 1939, in Thornberry, Texas, to her loving parents Harmon and Lora Parrott.

Billie Sue brought joy and warmth wherever she went. Her radiant smile and loving nature were a testament to her kind and gentle spirit. She never knew a stranger and had the remarkable ability to connect with anyone she met, quickly learning their life story. Billie Sue's laughter was infectious, and she had a wonderful way of brightening the lives of those around her.

One of Billie Sue's passions was dancing. She shared her love for dance by teaching line dancing and participating in ballroom dancing multiple nights a week. She was also an active member of "The Red Hat Society" as Queen Mum and played a vital role in coordinating various events and community activities for multiple organizations, including her role as an active board member at the Florence Douglas Center.

Billie Sue's presence at neighborhood gatherings was always a highlight. The local children adored her, and she had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. She could seamlessly transition from being firm bursting with laughter, captivating everyone with her vibrant personality.

Billie Sue is survived by her husband, John Milne, and her children: Tammy Scorza, Doug Gribble, Kim and Paul O'Malley, and Michael Gribble. Her legacy of love and resilience lives on through them. She also leaves behind grandchildren Michelle and Andrew Crane, Mitchell and Katie Scorza, Kevin and Tara O'Malley, Siobhan O'Malley, and Liam O'Malley, who were the apple of her eye. Billie Sue's great-grandchildren, Grace and Bella Crane, Riley Scorza, and Rose O'Malley, filled her days with boundless joy.

Billie Sue Milne's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, faith, compassion, and kindness. She made a lasting impact on her family and community and will be remembered for her involvement and dedication. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find solace in the beautiful memories she gifted us.

A memorial service to honor Billie Sue's life will be held on August 25th, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Tulocay Cemetery, located at 411 Coombsville Rd, Napa, CA 94559.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Florence Douglas Center at 333 Amador Street, Vallejo, CA 94590, in her memory.
