Beverly Williams Obituary

Local Napa girl Beverly May Williams passed away on December 28, 2022, at the Queen of the Valley
Hospital. She was born to parents Alec and Hazel Storck. She had one older sister Hazel. Their father
started Storcks’s Garage here in Napa.
Beverly attended Shearer School and Intermediate School and graduated in 1945 from Napa Union High
School. She was pretty much a tomboy growing up and loved her chickens and the family dogs. As a
youngster she got to go to the 1939 World’s Fair on Treasure Island. Her favorite food at the time was
hamburgers. She was also part of the Sweet Adelines and enjoyed singing.
On November 7, 1948 Beverly married Arthur Williams, and they spent sixty wonderful years together.
They had two children, Michael, and Lynda. Beverly worked as a bookkeeper for Bert Williams and Sons,
and her husband was a machinist there.
Over the years they enjoyed camping and exploring the gold mines and old towns of the Sierra Nevada
mountains. Beverly loved gardening, crafting, and going to the Ocean at Bodega Bay. Another favorite
place was the Peppermill Casino in Reno for some gambling fun.
On sunny days Beverly enjoyed reading her Kindle in her garden swing and soaking up the sun. Beverly
loved and enjoyed her three grandchildren the most, Charlie, Christopher, and Michelle. They filled her
life with great fun and joy. In January of 2022 Beverly became a great grandma to baby Clark. He
brightened up her days with his many visits.
You will be greatly missed, Mom. Beverly is survived by her son Michael, daughter Lynda, grandsons
Charlie and Christopher, granddaughter Michelle, great grandson Clark, niece Diana, and her husband
Kim.
