Betty Jean Bonneson

Betty Jean, 87 passed away June 18, 2021 at home with her children by her side.

She was born in New Mexico, in Chaves County. Betty Jean’s mother Evelyn Mae Brummell and her father Loyd L. Brummell left New Mexico and resided in Yuma, Arizona where Betty Jean went to school and grew up.

She worked at Naval 4 on Mare Island as a secretary where she met her husband Gerald Bonneson. Betty Jean retired at Naval 4 and went on volunteer work. She was a honor student as well, a dedicated wife and mother.

Betty is survived by her son Michael Anderson, daughter Sherie Franklin, four grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, nine great, great grandchildren. Three sisters Nancy West, Shirley Wilkerson and Bobby Zwanck and brother Kit Ketron.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Bonneson,  mother Evelyn Mae Brummell-Ketron, sister; Carol Lynn Kid and brother Jimmy Brummell.

Services will be held at 3p.m. Friday, July 2nd, 2021 at Tulocay Chapel, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa, CA 94559.
