Sharon Marlene Simpson

April 5, 1943 ~ November 23, 2017 (age 74) 74 Years Old


Sharon M. (Santos) Simpson, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her beloved sweetheart Phil on Thanksgiving day November 23rd unexpectedly at her home.

She was born at Parks Victory Hospital, Napa in 1943 to George and Ada Santos. Sharon graduated from PUC Prep and went onto Pacific Union College in Angwin.

Sharon married the love of her life, Phillip Simpson in 1963 and were happily married 43 years until Phillips passing .

She worked for her father at George’s Gun Shop until her fathers passing and then went to work at Napa Register. Sharon owned and operated her own florist shop “The Weed Patch”. In 1983 Sharon opened the “The Elegant Guest Home” which she owned and operated for 34 years.

She loved gardening, collecting antiques, and going to her granddaughters events. She had a huge heart for rescuing animals that needed a loving home.

Sharon and Phil welcomed two sons Todd and Kirk Simpson and also opened their heart and home to Charolette Allen whom they loved as their own daughter.

Sharon and Phil were very active in the Napa Seventh Day Adventist Church where they donated their time and love to the Church Youth Group. They took a Youth Group to Puerto Rico to build a church among many other trips and functions.

Sharon and Phil were also very active in the Napa Sister City Program and took many trips to Tasmania, Australia where they made many great friendships.

Sharon was pre deceased by her parents and her husband Phil Simpson. She is survived by sons; Todd (Lisa) Simpson, Kirk Simpson; daughter, Charolette Allen and three Grand Daughters; Ashley Younger, Afton Younger and Avery Simpson. As well as her beloved dog Buddy.

Sharon will never be forgotten and always be loved. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Napa Seventh Day Adventist Church or any animal rescue facility of your choice in her name.

Services will be held at the Napa Seventh Day Adventist Church on “G” Street.  Sunday, December 10th at 1:00 p.m.
