Rose Marie Memmott

Rose Marie Memmott of Napa, CA passed away quietly at the residence of her son & daughter-in-law, Jack & Candace Memmott in Placerville, CA on Sunday April 8, 2018.

Rose 106 years, was the oldest known living person in Napa, CA. She was born December 20, 1911 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, to Octave Rivard & Alexina Marie Trottier (Rivard).

Rose & her husband Stanford Memmott of 71 years, were long-time residents of Napa CA. Together they owned & operated a respected business, Modern Method Roofing Co, until their retirement. The business was then owned & operated by their oldest son & daughter-in-law, Lorne & Skippi Memmott, along with their children, Mark, Caren & Rodney Memmott.

Rose lived a long and happy life, with her husband Stanford, who she adored, and they dedicated their life to their children, Lorne, Marline & Jack Memmott.

At the time of her passing she leaves: 2 children, 9 grand-children, 18 great-grand children, and 10 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 13 brothers & sisters, her husband Stanford Memmott, her son Lorne Memmott, and her grand-son Mark Memmott.

The viewing will be at 12:30; the funeral will be at 1:30 on Mon April 16, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 15 Chapel Hill Dr., Napa, CA.
