Patricia Louise Foss passed away peacefully in her home on September 22, 2017 in Napa, California at the age of 69.

Patricia was born on July 27, 1948 in Napa, California to Boyd Sr. and Charlotte Reichstein. Patt graduated from Napa High School in 1966. She married Don Foss on July 20, 1980. As an accountant, she retired after 22 years as the CFO/Countess of Accountability with Napa Wine Company.

Patt built and maintained strong friendships. The Girlfriends of ‘66’, was where she enjoyed socializing, going out to lunch, and shopping with her friends from high school. She was also active with Native Daughters of the Golden West, where their focus was on charitable projects and community service. Patt loved motorcycle trips with Don, time in Tahoe, family vacations to Maui and spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her husband Don Foss of Napa California; her children Lanette (Brian) Crowley of Folsom, California and Bobbie (Kelcie) Walker of Syracuse, Utah; four grandchildren, Grace Crowley of Folsom, California and Tanner, Taylor, and Tristan Walker of Syracuse, Utah. She is also survived by Alan Foss and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Boyd Sr. and Charlotte Reichstein and her brother Ed Reichstein.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Friday, September 29, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Tulocay Funeral Chapel, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa, California 94558. A graveside service will immediately follow the service. Please join the family after the services for a luncheon and sharing of memories at Tulocay Reception Hall.

Our beautiful mother danced her last steps on this earth surrounded by family and friends to a heavenly dance floor. She would want us to continue the dance with kindness and humility. So, if you would like to honor Patricia’s memory, it was her wish to please consider the following: ‘Rather than simply writing a check, even to a worthy organization, listen to your heart. Identify someone specific in need: someone living on the street, a mother whose kids are hungry, a student without the resources to buy books. Then give your food or money or supplies directly, one-on-one. Make eye contact. Be present. It will be a blessed moment for the person you’re helping—a gift to you and a gift to me.’

Memories may be shared with the family online at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
