Mary E. Bassham

Mary E Bassham was born to Lester and Lena Beasley in Wewoka, Ok in 1928 and moved to Santa Ana, Ca in 1941. She met and married Bob Bassham in 1948 and settled in Napa in 1960; where she would remain. Bob and Mary had 5 children: Barbara (Joe Potts), Ronald (Claudia Edwards), Richard (Katie Parrish), Judy (Mike Meagher), and Robin (B.J. Foster). They were married for 22 years before Bob passed and preceded Mary to Glory in 1971. Mary worked for Kaiser’s Napa Medical Clinic for over two decades and retired in 1993.

She was also a member of Grace Church of Napa where she taught elementary Sunday School for over 50 years. Mary also worked in VBS, GMG, Awana, and loved volunteering in the weekly worship service at The Meadows. Bob and Mary were blessed with 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Mary went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 17th while at home and surrounded by her family. Her memorial service was held on the 22nd at the church she loved so much.

She will be greatly missed.
