Lauren Michelle Hoyer

1995 - 2018

Lauren Michelle Hoyer passed away peacefully on April 30, 2018 in Napa at the age of 22.

Lauren was born on August 22, 1995 in Vallejo, California to Rocky Hoyer and Misty Hermes. Lauren graduated from Vintage High School where she played soccer and tennis. She also played soccer for the Energizer's Soccer Team. After graduation, she attended some college focusing on general education and began working for Taqueria Rosita as a food server. After Taqueria Rosita, she chose to stick with the restaurant business and went to work for Morimotos, Alkar, and her most recent employment, Carneros Resort. She also loved swimming, camping, martial arts and attending Young Life Christian Foundation.

Lauren was such a happy person. Everyone who knew her loved her contagious laugh and smile. She just had the biggest heart and was always so caring for everyone. She absolutely loved spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Kado. She was also passionate about her job and loved interacting with everyone she worked with. Lauren will always be remembered for her laugh and her smile.

Lauren is survived by her grandmother Silvia McMillan (predeceased grandfather Dave McMillan) of Vacaville, mother Misty Hermes of Napa, father Rocky and step mother Myrna of Napa, sister Casey Hoyer of Napa, step-sister Alysha and Korey of Virginia, step-sister Ashley Smith of Napa, step-sister Andrea Smith of Napa, step-brother Scott McMillan, step-sister Sherie and husband Nick, uncle Mike Hermes, aunt Michelle Hermes, aunt Sherry Hoyer and cousins Brittany and Reuben Hermes, Ryan Hermes, Anthony Hermes, Lisa and Brittany Hokanson, Kurt Hoyer, Kari Hoyer, Trina Hoyer, and Robert and Stacey Hoyer.

A funeral is scheduled for May 19, 2018 at Tulocay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Tulocay Chapel and the service will begin at 12:30 pm with a reception to follow at the Tulocay Reception Hall. Pastor Sammy Solis will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lauren’s life.

Lauren will never be forgotten and will be forever missed by her family, friends and Kado.
