Kim Andersen

Kim Andersen, 60, quietly passed away May 17, 2017 in Napa, California. She was born June 21, 1956 in Napa

to Dewey and Joyce Andersen.

Growing up, Kim attended schools locally: Philips Elementary, Silverado Jr. High, and Napa High.  Kim had

a love for horses and horseback riding. This love led her to pursue a career as a Professional Horse Trainer

for the better part of 20 years. She was a member of the Napa Valley Horseman's Association and American

Quarter Horse Association. Other things Kim enjoyed were playing the piano, knitting, crocheting and attending

church.  She was a proud member of Napa Valley Lutheran Church on Elm Street and later became an

ambassador of Brookdale Senior Living, an assisted living facility.

Kim is survived by her brothers, Todd Andersen of Napa and Scott Andersen of St. Helena; niece, Olivia Andersen

of St. Helena; aunts, Jane Campbell of Calistoga and Susie Pritchett of Santa Rosa; as well as numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Joyce Andersen.

The family invites friends to join them for a time of shared memories and visitation from 1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. on Friday,

June 2, 2017 at Tulocay Funeral Home followed by a gathering in the Tulocay Reception Center.  Memories may be
