John Monroe Malone

It is with deep and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, grandpa and best friend John M. Malone.

John was born on July 19, 1949 to Ernest & Sue Malone, and entered into Heaven on June 1, 2017.

John was the Owner, Operator of John's Mobile Repair and then a constant presence at Shop 757 on Mare Island AKA, Scherer Trucking Inc. and later Triton Truck Repair Inc.

John was an "Expert Master Mechanic" but more than his talent with fixing all things automotive, John was a book of knowledge for anyone needing a helping hand. All the guys in the shop have said his helping hand was as big as his heart. John's love of building cars, whether it was a classic car or a destruction derby car, was only out shined by his love for his Family and his feline friends. John was a huge cat and dog lover, and just as he would never turn down helping a friend or family member, John would never turn away a stray.  John has rescued many animals not only from Mare Island, but also from many situations where he found an animal in need. As John's illness progressed he still loved coming to "The Shop" to help in any way he could, or just to hang out with his friends, especially Shoey. John's presence will be forever missed by all of us that loved him, especially his wife, Tammy.  John was a proud father and loving grandpa to his precious grandkids.

John is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Malone. Sons, Jason Malone (Soraya), Jeremy Malone (Heather), Eric Shimel (Sarah) and daughter, Corinne Stubblefield (Patrick). Grandchildren, Micah Malone, Dylan & Logan Stubblefield and Rylee Manny. John is also survived by his brothers, Tom Malone (Joyce), Dean Malone, his sister, Barbara Aultman (Paul), and numerous nieces and nephews.

John will be joining his parents, Ernest and Sue Malone, brother Charlie and Sister Loretta as well as his niece Erica Aultman in Heaven.

Please join us as we say our goodbyes and pay tribute to our most beloved and loving friend John at Tulocay Cemetery in the Chapel on Friday, June 9, 2017. Viewing will be from 10am to 1pm with a celebration of life beginning at 1pm, and a reception immediately following in the Tulocay Reception Hall.  Heaven has gained one of the most generous Angels and this world will not be the same without the wonderful John Malone.  In lieu of Flowers, please make a donation in John's memory to the Napa Humane Society.
