James Dawson II

James E. Dawson II, 55, went home to be with his Lord on March 2, 2017.  He was born December 4, 1961 in Vallejo to James and Joan Dawson.  After graduating from Napa High School, class of 1980, he earned his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science at San Diego State University.  He worked for five years as a computer programmer at Mare Island until health issues disrupted his life.

Growing up, Jimmy was very active and loved all water sports as the family spent many weekends together at the lake.  He also loved horseback riding, dancing and enjoying the company of his many friends.

Jimmy's faith was very important to him and he loved to study his Bible and was very active at Grace Church of Napa.  His kindness and sense of humor impacted the lives of many people.

He is survived by his sisters, Suzan and Pamala; step-daughter, Amber and her husband, Chad; granddaughter, Judith, nieces and nephews, Ashley, Chelsey, Jett and Senett and great nephew, Jaxson.

A service to honor Jimmy's life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 12pm in the Tulocay Chapel.  Memories may be shared at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
