Helen Marie Simpkins

1930—2017

Helen went to be with the lord December 22, 2017 with her loving family around her. Helen was born February 14, 1930 to Sam & Addie Plumlee in Harrison Arkansas. Helen grew up in Harrison with her 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Following high school she married Jack McGaughey and moved to Napa, where Helen remained a resident until her passing. Helen worked for many years in Napa grocery stores as a meat wrapper. Helen is also a long time member of Crosswalk Community Church where she volunteered in the Food Pantry helping the homeless and people in need. Helen loved helping others and wanting nothing in return accept their friendship.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She will be remembered for her loving smile and love for family and friends. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Sisters, Juanita, Sue, Brother Tight, Husband Jack, Son Tom, Husband Weyman ‘Gus’ Simpkins. Helen leaves behind her son Gary & wife Denise, Grandchildren Shaun & wife Gentle, Ryan & wife Darz, Alan & wife Michelle, Jaclyn and husband Chris, and Kathleen. Great Grandchildren: Jack, Theo, Cecilia, Bianca, Gianna, Giavanna, Giuliana, Daryn, Grant, Mason, Emma, Cohen, Reese.
