George Cooper

1971-2018

George Thomas Cooper passed away peacefully at the Kaiser in Vacaville on March 29, 2018 at the age of 46.

George was born on December 21, 1971 in Chelsea, Massachusetts to George and Yit Wan Cooper. He graduated from the police academy with an associate’s degree. He became a police officer and worked for the Napa State Hospital Police Department for 10 and a half years.

George was a guitar enthusiast, loving partner and best friend to all. Before becoming a police officer, George gave guitar lessons. He played the electric guitar and later moved on to classical guitar. He also loved sky diving, going for rides on his motorcycle and absolutely enjoying living life to the fullest every day. George was able to give the gift of sight to two people upon his death.

George is survived by his partner Christina Gamboa, Fairfield, California; sister Maria Cooper of Napa, California; and brother William Cooper of Bakersfield, California. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Yit Wan Cooper of Napa, California.
