Frank Roman
Frank Roman, a resident of Calistoga Springs since 1998, passed away as the result of a stroke, hospitalized for seven months out of the Napa area, returned home for six days at Easter time, before his passing. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Judith "Judi" Roman; two siblings, Samantha Sexson of Texas and Bob Roman of St. Louis; daughter Robin Roman Wright of Boston; Judi's daughter, Chrissy Piotrowski and husband, Philip Hyndman of Mill Valley; and Judi's son, Jimmy McSpadden of Knoxville, Tenn.
Frank was also a grandfather.
Frank was an architect in mid-town Manhattan, where the couple met in 1988, also other states across the country. He's also a veteran of World War II, attended Columbia University on the GI Bill, where he studied architecture.
Catholic Mass services will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 901 Washington, Calistoga at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 27. Reception from 4-8 p.m., Saturday, April 29 at Calistoga Springs MHP Clubhouse, 45 Magnolia Drive.
