Edna Belle Rogers

1929—2018

Edna Rogers was received to the gardens of heaven peacefully on February 10, 2018 after living a full life.

Edna was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on November 17, 1929 to Charles H. Fink and Laura Isabelle Peck-Fink. She was third of ten children in the family. After graduating from high school, she made the decision to move to sunny Southern California. She worked in the hospitality field for over 50 years in the Napa Valley.

Upon arriving to the Napa Valley, she met and married Glen Rogers and the two were married on April 22, 1959. They raised a family of four while living Napa.

Her interests included travel, gardening and the company of friends. Her travels included locations such as Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and various cruises. In addition, she and Glen loved to travel across country in their motor coach. Enda’s love of gardening kept her busy in the later years where she planted many types of floral varieties and was especially fond of roses.

Edna is survived by her sister Ruth Freeman of Springfield, PA. Her daughter Linda (Tom) Malloy of Napa and daughter Diana Plummer of Denver, CO. Along with her daughters, she is survived by her daughter in-laws Connie Rogers of Napa and Christina Rogers of Angels Camp. In addition, she had several grand and great-grandchildren she was proud of. Enda was predeceased in death by her husband Glen and sons Bill and Bob Rogers. Both family and friends will miss Edna’s spirited personality and her ability to enjoy life to the fullest.

The family was very thankful for Edna’s care givers during final years of life, R.E. Home Care Services and Collabria Care Services. Family services will be held for Edna on February 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Tulocay Cemetery.

Edna attended First Christian Church often and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the church at 2659 First St., Napa, Ca 94558 (fccnapa.org).
