Barbara Gwynne Becker

1933—2018

Barbara Becker passed away peacefully on February 20, 2018. Barbara was born to Delphine and Vern Becker in Los Angeles on December 15,1933. As a child Barbara was a talented singer and dancer who performed professionally. At the age of twelve Barbara and her family moved to South San Francisco and then to Napa in 1980 where she lived with her parents and her beloved pets until her death. Barbara graduated from Mercy High School in Burlingame and then attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State. Barbara worked and loved working as a nurse for over forty years. She especially loved working in pediatrics.

Barbara was also very creative and loved to spend her time painting and doing craft work that she displayed and sold at the local craft fairs in Napa.

Barbara is survived by her brother Lee and his wife Lidia, and by her nephews Chris (Joey), Scott (Patricia) and Daniel (Cary) Becker, and by her nine great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Collabria Care, and the caregivers at Choctaw House, and the Stayman Estates for their loving care.
