Wilma Costella

Wilma passed in the early hours of Christmas Day, December 25, 2016, her favorite day of the year. Wilma loved this time of year. Her house would always be decorated and full of family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her 2 sons Glenn Costella of Santa Rosa and Tim Costella of Sacramento. She also leaves 5 grandchildren: Josh Costella; Jeremy Costella; Jazmine (Costella) Potts; Monique Costella; and Sabrina Noblet of Napa. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Tysin Costella. Also surviving are 2 sisters; Nancy Williams (Harlan) of Grass Valley and Donna Clark of Marysville, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Wilma was raised in Harlan County, KY. The eldest of 7 children, she was the big sister to 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Wilma and her son Glenn moved from Harlan County in 1963 to Napa, CA where she met and married Ron Costella and raised her sons Glenn and Tim. Wilma worked at Napa County Environmental Health for 30 years, and retired in 2003.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ron in 1999, her mother Alene Clark, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

A viewing will be held at Tulocay Cemetery from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. on January 3, 2017, followed by a graveside service.
