William Cecil Otterback

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of beloved husband, father, and grandfather Bill Otterbeck on Wednesday November 8th 2017 at age 62 in Napa California.

Bill was born at Parks Victory Hospital in Napa California on October 13th 1955. He graduated from Vintage High School in 1974. He was happily married to Cindy (Hall) Otterbeck on July 2nd 1983.

Bill was a hardworking man who was employed in the road construction industry for many years. If you had the opportunity to know Bill you would know he was truly a man’s, man. He possessed a vast skill set and would take the time to share his knowledge with anyone willing to learn. Life is better when you’re laughing and Bill had a great sense of humor. His quick-witted quips were sure to put a smile on your face. Bill lived his life with integrity and was known for being an extremely honest and fair man. Bill loved taking trips in his RV, gold panning, antiquing, bottle digging, wine making, fishing, wood-working, gardening, cooking and riding his Screaming Eagle Harley Davidson.

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years Cindy (Hall) Otterbeck. his daughters Kirsten Otterbeck and Kelsey (Otterbeck) Capella, his son in law Tony Capella, his twin granddaughters Abigail and Ava Capella and his grandson Vincent Capella. Bill is predeceased by Mother Irene (Poli) Otterbeck and Father John Otterbeck.

A ‘Celebration of Life’ in Bill’s honor will be held at Tulocay Cemetery 411 Coombsville Rd in Napa California from one to four o’clock in the afternoon this Saturday December 2nd. All memorial donations and flowers maybe sent to Tulocay Cemetery care of the Otterbeck Family.
