Simonne G. Scott

1938 – 2014

Born April 20, 1938 in Biddeford, Maine.Simonne passed away at her in Napa, CA peacefully with family by her side. She leaves behind her son Gary and girlfriend Cinda Jones, Lodi, CA.; stepson David (Tammy) Scott, Sacramento, CA.; brother Ray and life partner Estelle, Antioch, CA.; sister Paulette (Howard) Cook, Napa, Ca.; granddaughter Mackenze Scott and many other relatives and friend.

She was preceded in death by husband Dennis Scott, father Bill Gagne’, mother Annette Gagne’ and brother Maurice “Moe” Gagne’.

Simonne was raised and educated in Maine, when her family moved to California in 1964. Her very first job was at Sawyer’s working as a seamstress with her mother, sister and brother. As a very talented seamstress she continued her career at Danelli Awnings, Napa and ended her career at New Dimensions, Napa.

Simonne had a passion for sewing and loved going to the movies with her sister Paulette, which happened at least 2-3 times a week. She enjoyed many other hobbies, such as knitting, sewing, crocheting, traveling and trips to Disneyland and most of all spending time with her granddaughter Mackenze.

She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held at the Tulocay Chapel on Saturday January 17, 2015 at 11:00 am.
