Robert "Bob" Gordon Geear

Robert “Bob” Gordon Geear, a Napa resident since 1973, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on August 27, 2016. 

Bob was a loving father to Susan Geear, Daniel Grajeda, Louis Grajeda, Venita Bush, and Nathan Hale. He is survived by his children, his brother, Lawrence Geear, former wife, Lucille Geear, many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He is pre-deceased by his mother, Madaleine Snead, and step-father, Carroll Snead. 

Bob had an adventurous childhood in San Francisco, proudly served as a Marine in the Korean War, and spent his career as a chef and restaurant manager.

A celebration to honor Bob’s life will be held Saturday, September 24 at 1 p.m. at The Reserve at Napa, 710 Trancas Street. There is limited parking at The Reserve, we recommend parking on Valle Verde Drive or the AAA parking lot at 800 Trancas Street. The AAA office is closed on the weekends so there is no issue with parking.
