Robert Richardson

Robert E. Richardson, "Bob", 77, passed away April 24, 2017 in Napa, California.  He was born April 21, 1940 in Cassville, Missouri to Eugene and Mary Richardson.  He attended De Anza High School graduating in 1958.  Immediately following high school, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served from 1958-1962.  After serving in the Air Force, in '62 he began working for Chevron USA.  Over the course of 30 years, he was a dedicated employee who advanced in his career eventually obtaining the position of Head of Transportation Specialist doing traffic and distribution.  His job took him and his family various places to live including Southern California, Alaska, Georgia, and then back to California where he settled in Napa retiring in 1992.  In his later years, he enjoyed playing poker with his "Poker friends" and Bingo at the Club House.  He will forever be missed by his family and many friends.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Kenny) Ross of Napa, CA; his grandsons, TJ (Jenna) Ross of Folsom, CA, Steven Ross of American Canyon, CA, and Wyatt Richardson of Norwood, Missouri; and his great-granddaughter, Ella Ross of Folsom, CA.  He is also survived by his sisters, Marietta (Tom) Corbin of Yreka, CA, and Anna (Dean) Middling of Clearlake Oaks, CA; his nephews, Jack and Jeff Lehman of Napa, Joe Lehman of Tennessee, and Jason Lehman of Yreka, CA; and his former wife Elaine Johnson Richardson of Napa, CA.  He leaves behind his Aunt Nelda Wootton of Texas along with numerous cousins and many friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Gene and Mary Richardson; and by his son, Jim Richardson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital. Please join the family to celebrate Bob's life on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00p.m. held in the Club House at La Siesta Village, 4433 Solano Ave. Napa, CA 94558.
