Dottie, David Very sorry to hear, but glad I got to benefit from Bob's sage advice. He was a great roommate on a cruise on USS Enterprise to a bridge partner in the bow compartment of a nuclear sub at 400 feet deep off the coast of Calif. That story I tell to all my new bridge partners. He pushed me to remain calm when adverse conditions were coming down around me and was a favorite supervisor. Again I am so glad I had his guidance and friendship.

I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Although we grew apart over the years, Dave Mack and I have been friends since 1968, (4th grade), and I spent many good times at the Mack's house. I will remember Bob with fondness as the caring and loving father of one of my best childhood friends.
