Pascuala Montanez

Pascuala Montañez, 103, died in Lodi, January 17, 2017.  She was born May 6, 1913 in Mexico to Abraham and Ana Garibay.  She married David Montanez in 1931 and together they raised 12 children.  She was a loving, strong and courageous woman devoted to her family and her church.

She is survived by her sons, Roman, Julio, Miguel, Jose and Otoniel Montanez; daughters, Dolores and Dejesus; 34 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her husband, David, and children, Luisa, Alicia, Evaristo, Israel and Javier.

A Mass will be said for her at St John the Baptist Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10am.  Viewing will be in the Tulocay Chapel, Monday, January 23 starting at 12pm.  The Rosary will be prayed at 7pm.  Memories may be shared at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
