Leslie "Steven" Carscadden, II

Leslie “Steven” Carscadden passed away at the Queen of the Valley ICU Tuesday, February 21, 2016. He was 63. Steven was born in San Diego November 19, 1953 to Maudine and Leslie Carscadden. Maudine subsequently married Donald Gibson in 1957. Donald Gibson passed away May 17, 2016.

Steven graduated from Napa High in 1971 and entered the Air Force where he was stationed in San Diego. After an honorable discharge, he was employed at the San Francisco Airport for 37 years in the jet fuel division and lived in San Mateo during those years. Steven was recently living with his brother Michael Gibson in Napa and greatly enjoyed fires under the stars and taking care of Sam, Mike’s German Shepherd.

Steven was an avid collector of model airplanes, airplane photos, model cars, beer steins, books and other memorabilia. He also enjoyed road trips throughout the United States.

He is survived by his father Leslie Carscadden, his mother Maudine Gibson, brother Michael Gibson, sister Deanna Gibson, and nephews Joshua Munson, Tyler Munson, Dillan Lawley and JJ Lawley. Services will be held at Tulocay Cemetery, Saturday March 4, 2017, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
