Our family is saddened by the passing of Kenyth S. Hall Jr., 59, on January 11, 2017. Kenyth was born in San Jose CA on August 10, 1957. He was raised in San Jose, Oakland and Napa.

After graduating from Vintage High School, Ken worked for Beringer Winery in the bottling division, and the City of Napa and Circle Oaks Water District as a water treatment plant operator. Most recently, Ken enthusiastically completed training and assisted the Red Cross in relief efforts for disaster victims, most particularly the Clayton Fire in Lake County.

“Rusty” as he was known by friends and family loved all things outdoors – camping, chili cook-offs (quite the chef), skiing, kayaks, diving for abalone, backpacking and hiking in the Desolation Valley and Rubicon trail, riding his bike, and reading. He also enjoyed playing “find the quarters” with his grandniece and nephews whom he adored.

Rusty is survived by his parents, Walt and Carol Lema, sisters Pamyla Means and Mindy Hall, niece Shelby Means (Chad DeLaca) and nephew Shane Means (Jill Means), grandniece Rylee Means, grandnephews Nolan, Max and Ryan Means, and brother in law David Means (Jackie Thomas).

A private family memorial will be scheduled at a future date.

Love Ya Rust—hike the trails and rest in peace.
