Kenneth Leroy Leuthold

Kenneth Leroy Leuthold, age 83 went home to be with the Lord on May 4th, 2016. Kenneth was born December 17th, 1932 in Bern, Kansas.

He was proceeded by his Father & Mother Joseph & Gladys Leuthold and his sibling Nelda, Dale, John, & Herald.  He was the 5th of 6 children.

He is survived by his beloved wife Joan Leuthold of 61 years;  his sister Gwen Stoller; his three wonderful children Dan & Cindy Leuthold, Julia & Ron Preset, and Cynthia Leuthold; his 6 grandchildren;  Angela, Christian, Jessica, Gary, Kenny, and Bret; his 12 great-grandchildren; Daniel, Dimitrios, Cole, Hannah, Cecillia, Kyle, Aiden, Naomi, Autumn, Gracie, Lainey & Landen.

Kenneth joined the U.S. Navy  on  March 28th, 1951. He served on the U.S.S. Titania & the U.S.S H.J. Thomas as a Boatswain mate.  He was honored with the China Service Medal.

After his service in the Navy, he went on to work at Mare Island Naval Base as a welder for 30 years.  He then retired and began working in Napa, Ca. Welding & assembling the Napa Valley Wine Train. He then finished off his retirement by traveling and spending time with his family.
