James "Jim" Gondola

James "Jim" Gondola, 67, passed away March 9, 2017 following a brief illness. 

Jim was born in Napa May 2, 1949.  He was raised in American Canyon.  On August 23, 1969,

he married the love of his life, Patty Gondola.  Jim and Patty had two daughters, Shelley and Angel.

Jim worked at Mare Island for 25 years, retiring as a nuclear inspector on submarines.  Jim and his family

loved spending time together at the R-ranch at the Lake, where he was still serving on the board of directors.

Jim is survived by his two daughters, Shelley (Dan) Wynn and Angel (Steve) Kenny; and granddaughters,

Jewel Kenny and Madison Wynn, who were his pride and joy.  He was predeceased by his parents,

James and Patricia Gondola; wife, Patty and sister Margaret Farquhar.

A service to honor his life will be held in the Tulocay Chapel on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 1pm.
