So sorry to hear of this great lady's passing. Though I moved away from Napa in 1975, we did our best to honor Harriett's and Ted's long friendship with our parents (Bud and Jo-an) by calling, writing and visiting whenever we were in town. They were best friends with our now deceased parents (1993 and 2002) since living across Georgia St, Travis AFB in the mid-1950s and retiring to Napa in 1963. Condolences to Barbara and Daniel and the extended family. I will miss conversations with both of them and their loyalty to my family greatly.

My condolences to the Gall family. My family grew up on Sierra and we all attended Bel-Aire Elementary school. I can still remember playing at recess and seeing Mrs. Gall on the playground where she volunteered for many years doing yard duty. She was a very nice lady.....may she rest in peace.

Barbara and family,
Reading this obituary brought back so many fond memories. I loved your mom. You may remember that I helped coach the gymnastics and swimming teams at Redwood when you and Carolyn were there. I was so impressed by how devoted and supportive of you she was. I'll never forget how she was always at the meets, willing to help in any way she could. Even though I knew her only a short time, I often thought of her as an example when my own son was growing up and participating in school programs. My condolences to you and your family. I hope knowing that she made such a positive impression will give you comfort as you go through this difficult time.
