Glenn William Cherrington

God called Glenn William Cherrington home on October 1, 2017.

Glenn was born in Vallejo, CA on July 11, 1937.  He grew up on First Avenue in Napa and graduated from Napa High School.  He started working at Christian Brothers Winery when he was 18 and stayed until retirement.  Glenn had an awesome relationship with the Lord and was a faithful servant at Napa Valley Baptist Church for over 20 years where he loved serving .  He had a genuine, loving personality and he loved people and people loved him.  He will be missed by so many.  Glenn was a wonderful, loving husband and awesome father!  A hard-working family man and great provider.  He was the best dad ever!

Glenn is survived by his loving wife Joann of 59 years. 

James, his twin brother, his wife Sharon and their son Brian. 

Jenine, his daughter, her husband Tom and their daughter Angela and son in law Charlie and baby Loo.

Lisa, his daughter, her husband Rob and their son Adam and daughter in law Lauren.

Tim, his son and little Lola Beans the smartest and most loyal doggie ever.

We would also like to thank family, lifelong friends, past co-workers, church members and neighbors that all visited Glenn, sharing memories, holding his hand and praying with him.  Your kindness brought him so much love, joy and happiness.  Thank you all for being by his side.

God bless you Dad!  We love you and will miss you forever!!

Funeral services will be held at 12:30PM on October 23, 2017 at Tulocay Cemetery, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa, CA  A celebration of Glenn's life will be held after the service at Napa Valley Mobile Home Park Club house, 1040 Orchard Avenue, Napa, CA
