Frederick Cooper Jr.

Frederick (Fred) Stowers Cooper Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on October 1st, surrounded by his loved ones.

Fred was the owner and founder of Fastframe Napa since 1992.  He was formerly a Chemical Engineer for DuPont, receiving a B.S. from Georgia Tech and a Masters degree from Purdue University.

He is survived by his four children: Sons: Rick Cooper of Sacramento and Chris Cooper of San Rafael, daughter-in-law Lisa and grandchildren Calvin and Lucy, Daughters: Amanda Cooper of Napa and Allison Cooper Tauziet of Napa, son-in-law Xavier Tauziet and grandchildren Amelie and Jack.

Fred was a Civil War enthusiast which was evident to anyone who entered his gallery on Trancas St. He was an avid and talented golfer and always enjoyed taking photos of his children and grandchildren, whose images were framed throughout his home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on his behalf to Collabria Hospice of Napa.  Fred will be buried in Tulocay Cemetery in late October.  A memorial celebrating Fred's life will be held on Thursday, November 17th.  For further details, please contact Fastframe of Napa.  Memories may be shared with the family on-line at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
