Evalyn Klein

Evalyn J. Klein died in Snohomish Wa, on July 3, 2016. She was born in Napa in 1920 to Lee and Oriole (Cress) Boggs and she was a sister to the late Robert (Bob) Boggs, Wayne Boggs, and Beverly (Boggs) Attebery. She studied piano with Gertrude Lambdin from age 6 until high school graduation in 1937. She then taught piano before moving to San Francisco and later to Seattle where she married Max Klein. They later moved to Snohomish WA. where their sons Philip and Gordon were born and she became city librarian. After her retirement she moved to Everett, WA.

She is survived by her sons, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her ashes will be placed in the Tulocay Cemetery in the Cress family plot on July 23, 2016 at 12:00pm, where her parents and maternal grandparents are buried. In an older plot in the cemetery, her great grandfather William Boggs and great great grandfather Lilburn Boggs are buried.

All friends of the Boggs/Cress family are invited to a reception at Compadre’s Restaurant on Lincoln Ave. at 1:00pm.
