Elizabeth "Liz" Bettero

ELIZABETH BETTERO

1912-2016

Elizabeth Fortuneta Bettero, was born here in the Napa Valley, October 21, 1912 to Esther and Livio Bettero.  She remained a single female her entire 103 years of life.  She attended St John the Baptist Catholic School as a young girl and graduated from Napa High School. 

Elizabeth supported herself with several different jobs during her lifetime.  She lived in Napa until she moved to Lake County for her health in 1967.

Elizabeth loved to garden.  She spent her spare time growing flowers.  Her fruit trees furnished her with adequate fruit for canning.

Elizabeth passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, January 20, 2016.  She leaves behind many cousins, Giovannonis, Bastians, Pighinis, Shanks, Traversos and Wilcoxsons.  May eternal peace be your forever, Elizabeth.

A service to honor her life will be held in the Tulocay Chapel on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11am.  Memories and words of sympathy may be shared with the family on-line at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
