Elizabeth Odella

ELIZABETH  ODELLA

1931-2016

Elizabeth M. Odella, a lifelong resident of Napa, passed away April 24, 2016. Born in Napa on August 1, 1931; she was the only daughter of Edward and Anita (Cleone) Odella.

She attended Saint John the Baptist Elementary School and graduated from Napa High.  Throughout her life she was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Young Ladies Institute.  She was also a member of the Italian Catholic Federation.

Elizabeth worked for both Bertain's and Sam Kee Laundries until she took a position in housekeeping at Napa State Hospital where she worked until retirement.

In addition to church functions, her social life included enthusiastic participation in bingo games. Most recently, she was a regular player at the Napa Valley Exposition Bingo Emporium. Over the years she enjoyed dining at various restaurants in downtown Napa. Her favorite spot was Taqueria Rosita where she found good friends and good food.

She is predeceased by her parents and a host of aunts and uncles. She is survived by her first cousins Joanne Cuellar of Napa, Bonnie Larsen of Reno and Ray Cleone Jr. of Alameda.

A graveside service is scheduled at Tulocay Cemetery April 28, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to a favorite charity is suggested.
