Elizabeth Marie Hayes

Elizabeth Marie “Lovely Lizzy” Hayes passed away peacefully while lying on her bed on November 5, 2015. She was born on October 28, 1983 in Vallejo, CA, but lived her whole life in Napa, CA. She was survived by her daughter, Abigail Hayes, her life partner, Jim Kattengell; her mother, Gretchen Carpenter; her sisters, Melanie Flores, Gerica Mcginty, and Alicia Carpenter; her brother, Thomas Flores; aunts, Susan Hemings and Megan Bolter, and grandparents, Michael and Joan Hemings. She was predeceased by her father, Randy Hayes.

Lizzy was flamboyantly loving and creative. She enjoyed poetry, music, baking, arts and crafts, playing dress up (especially with her daughter), and making people laugh. Although, her daughter was the most important person in her life, she always put everyone else’s needs before her own. Lizzy was beautifully outrageous and wildly fun! In honor of Lizzy’s fun loving nature, a celebration of her life will be held at Tulocay Funeral Home, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa, CA 94559 on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1:30 PM. A GoFundMe account has been established for her daughter, Abigail Hayes. All proceeds will go towards supporting Abby during this difficult time.
