So sorry to hear. Just learned of today from niece Shelly-Ann. Knew Dale when I was in high-school through my uncle Paul Reyff. Once we were water-skiing at Lake Berryessa and ran out of gas. We both swam and pulled the boat in since no one seemed to notice our distress call. Later he took me to my parents in Napa and last time I had privilege of seeing him. Sounds like he had great life and enjoyed life!

Darlene and family - just returned to town and was so saddened to hear about Dale's passing. Although he is happy and out of pain - he will be sorely missed but forever remembered. My sympathy to you and your family.

I was your mail lady for several years on Greystone Ct. I was so saddened to learn of Dale's passing. He was always so kind. It was obvious that he was such a genuinely nice person. I spoke with him briefly on several occasions over the years, and it's true that he really had a lasting impression. He will truly be missed! My heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends.

Dear Darlene and family,
We are the daughter and son-in-law of Everett Welby.
Dale was such a dear friend of our father. They did some local traveling around Northern California together enjoying each other's company. He was there if Ev needed a ride or anything else checking in on him often. Ev passed away a few years ago at 102 years. We send our condolence to you and the family. I know Dale will be missed.
Sincerely, Gary and Nancy Gates

Darlene: Haydee and I are deeply saddened by Dale's passing, and even though nothing concrete can be accomplished by these words, I hope you can receive some comfort from them. We only knew Dale for a short time, but in that time Haydee and I decided we'd love to get to know you both better. I so much enjoyed getting to talk with him at Lori's gathering for Jacquie, and hoped we all could work something out to get together. He was a a very special guy, as you so aptly put it. You know that if you need anything that we could help with, you have only to ask.

Love, Stephen and Haydee Stanton

Dear Darlene -
Dale was a very special person. Your words "Dale never met a person he wasn't interested in and he was a loyal friend to many" was so true. He was such a good friend to Welby (my father) and was there to help him to the end. We were lucky to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Love, Susan and Armand

Dear Darlene,
I am so very saddened by Dale's passing. He was truly everything you wrote about him. Good, kind, loving, caring, honest, loyal and fun! I feel so very fortunate to have been blessed to have been able to work with him for those years at O'Brien. He will truly be missed by all who knew him and he was, as you say, One in a Million. I know he lit up your life and you his. My love and prayers are with you.
Love,
Denise
