Carren Talbott is a special memory from my childhood and adolescent years as a student at Nelda Barker School of Dance. A diligent instructor, she paid close attention to details of our moves, positions, steps, and synchronicity. Also as a student of the classically-trained Nelda, she showed understanding of our struggles to improve and earn a nod instead of a tap with the stick... Carren's style of instruction was firm yet encouraging, and I grew to appreciate the ways she prompted me to practice practice practice. I knew she hoped to her own studio but hadn't known she achieved it until I read of her passing. I'm glad for her to have accomplished that and hope it was a satisfying experience for her and all of you in her family and circle of friends. Rest in Peace, Carren.

Thank you: I spreaded my Mothers ashes here in Hawaii (Maui); Her ashes are on the ocean water side of Kealia Pond. I will love & miss her till the day that we are reunited again in the Kingdom God. She was a beautiful person and an inspiration to me though my life ! I love you Mom xo
