Barry Biermann

Barry Doane Biermann I, 73, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Napa, California. He was born on March 22, 1943, in San Francisco, California to Fredrick and Elizabeth (Doane) Biermann.

Barry grew up in San Mateo, CA. He graduated from Hillsdale High School, in San Mateo, CA in 1962.  After high school he began work at Crocker Bank in Santa Rosa, CA and was the head Loan Officer for 13 years.  Barry owned “Barry’s Home Remodeling & Repairs” for 42 years.

Barry married his high school sweetheart Dee (Francioni) Biermann in 1964.  They were happily married for 52 years.

Barry was a member of Native Sons of Napa and SIRS Branch 149.  He loved the outdoors and had many “Annual” trips including fishing, hunting, and camping.  These trips were all with his family and very close friends.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents Fredrick and Elizabeth Biermann, and his in-laws Dottie and Joe Francioni.

He is survived by his spouse, Dee of Napa; his son, Barry (Betsy) Biermann II of Chico, CA; his daughter, De Ann Biermann of Napa, CA; his daughter, Kristen (Sean) Boals of Green Valley, CA; his grandchildren, Brandon, Blake, Megan and Michael; his brother, Ron (Dolores) Biermann of Sedona, AZ; his brother-in-law, Vince (Ginny) Francioni of Danville, CA; and his loving nieces and nephews.

Barry was humble, kind, caring and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church, 3700 Lassen Street, Napa, California at 11:00 a.m. on January 27, 2017.
